Physical Activity Training in Adolescents and Young Adults with Cancer: A Feasibility Study
Objective
Study Objectives The primary aim is to determine the safety, feasibility, and acceptability of a physical activity intervention for adolescents and young adults with cancer undergoing cancer treatment. A secondary aim is to collect and compare physical function assessments of adolescents and young adults undergoing cancer treatment at enrollment, and at 12 weeks (end of study) in the physical activity intervention arm and control arm. A tertiary aim is to collect and compare outcomes pertaining to distress and social isolation for adolescents and young adults undergoing cancer treatment at study enrollment and at 12 weeks (end of study) in the physical activity intervention arm and control arm.
