The COVID-19 and Cancer Consortium (CCC19) Registry
Objective
Initial reports from China suggest that COVID-19 is worse in cancer patients, especially those on active treatment. However, the number reported was small and much remains to be learned regarding specific risk factors. We propose to retrospectively and prospectively collect reports of patients with cancer who have COVID-19 through a web-based REDCap survey. This survey will not collect any PHI and will be used to understand the pattern and severity of infection for quality purposes. The survey is intended to be filled out by health care professionals and an optional contact email will be collected at the end of the survey. Any contact will be for clarification purposes only. We anticipate that the survey may inform clinical practice in the short term and will likely lead to a publication in the longer term.
