A Multi-Institutional Retrospective Study of Patient Characteristics, Treatment Patterns and Outcomes in Older Patients with Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma
Objective
We will perform a retrospective review of all patients age 60 and older with PCNSL treated at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and collaborating institutions from January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2018. Please note a modification will be submitted at a later date to add these collaborating institutions to the protocol. No research related activities will commence at these sites until we receive IRB approval.
We will provide a detailed descriptive analysis of patients over age 60 with PCNSL with regards to disease characteristics and treatment modalities.
We will determine the 2- and 5-year disease-free, progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) rates for patients.
We will identify patient- and disease-related prognostic factors with the goal of identifying significant factors that correlate with survival on univariate and multivariate analysis.
We will identify how retrospective geriatric assessments correlate with treatment strategies and survival.
