Children's Lives Include Moments of Bravery (CLIMB)
Objective
Objectives 1. To establish a support group for children and families of women with cancer, with education, counseling and social networking opportunities for its members, to be based on the nationally renowned CLIMB program. 2. To provide parents with the tools they need to identify and manage the emotional impact their cancer diagnosis has on their children. 3. To reduce overall patient distress by addressing the wellbeing of their children. Reducing distress will enhance the decision making process and treatment compliance that is essential to optimize outcomes of cancer treatment.
