A Retrospective Evaluation to Understand how a-adrenergic Antagonism Impacts the Progression of Melanoma and the Efficacy of Standard Treatments Intended to Eliminate the Cancer
Objective
The first objective of this study is to determine whether a-blocker usage influences prognosis in melanoma patients. We hypothesize that a-blocker usage will be related to improved survival in these patients. The second objective of this study is to determine whether a-blocker usage impacts the efficacy of standard therapies used to treat these cancers.
